Encyclopedia > Clarent

Clarent is one of King Aurthur's two magic swords. While Excalibur is a sword of warfare, Clarent is one of peace. Most notably, Clarent was the sword used by Arthur for Knighting.

It is sometimes used as a name for the sword in the stone, though this is not "accurate."
