At some point the mutant named Clive became a member of the militant mutant terrorism group, The Brotherhood. Presumably it wasn't too long ago, as Fiona called him an amateur. The Brotherhood of Mutants, originally known as the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants and briefly as the Brotherhood, is a Marvel Comics supervillain team devoted to mutant superiority over normal humans. ...


Clive, along with Bela and Fiona attack Malon Reeves' mansion under the direction of Bryson Bale, intending to kidnap her. Things go well until they reach Malon's room, where the window is open. Seeing her speeding away, Bryson tells Clive to fly after her, but to make sure she's still alive after he catches her. Catching on to the back of her car, he tried to pull himself inside, but she hit the breaks, sending him flying forward. Sensing her break, she hit the gas and ran him over. Dying, he asked Bela to get that "witch" for him as his final request. Bryson then ordered Bela to drain the last bit of life he had.
