History

In the spring of 1991, the band was formed in Tokyo by frontman Narasaki. During that time, they recorded demo tapes in which most of the songs made it on their first EP release. Near the end of the year, that EP, "White EP" was released on Strange Records. The EP had former member Watanabe on vocals while Narasaki played guitar. The bands activity was silent until the end of 1992 when they released their second EP, "Queen's Park all you change" on Stomly Records. The EP had Narasaki permanently on lead vocals and guitar in which he continues to do so today. The band gained some recognition which showed the release of their third EP, "Sinking Slowly" a month later.

The bands activities went silent once again until the release of their first album, "The Visitors From Deepspace" in 1994 on Victor Records. The album highlighted brand new songs. It wasn't until 1997 when the band released new material. Another EP, "Cat EP" was released on ZK Records. In 1998, the band released "Submerge", an album full of remixes, rare and new songs and a best-of album, "Breastroke". Fans were pleased to hear a new EP "Dog EP" which was a teaser until their next full-length album in 2000, "Come Over to the Deepend" (a play on the bands abbreviation COTD). The album experessed a lot of interest in the English language.

In the similar style of their "Come Over to the Deepend era", the band put out the "Robot EP" in 2001 to hold fans off until the release of their popular album "No Thank You". The album marked a new era for the band as they experimented even more heavily on electronic beats and noises. Very pleased with the sales of the album, a new album was released in 2002, "newave". The album took the similar style of their previous and showed a new tropical-style sound. By 2004, the band showed a completely new sound. With their small U.S. tour in 2003, Narasaki showed interest in an even heavier sound and released the "Mouse" and "Penguin" EPs, featuring heavy distorted guitars and deathmetal-like growls. while continuing to stay with their shoegazing roots.

After the release of the 2004 EPs, the band decided to stay quiet, only playing small gigs while Narasaki composed the musical score for the anime Paradise Kiss and work on his side project Sadesper Record, which released a full-length album earlier that year. In 2006, the band continued heavy activity working on a new EP and album, both of which were released in mid-2007. [2] Serialized in Zipper Original run April, 2000 – March, 2004 No. ...
