Cochin Refineries School

Set up way back in 1966 amidst sprawling greenery, Cochin Refineries School is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education and run by Cochin Refineries Educational Aid Society. It prepares children of KRL employees for All India Secondary School Examination and All India Senior School Certificate Examination.

The School

Cochin Refineries School is situated on the picturesque hill top of Jwalagiri in Ernakulam. It was established in 1966 for the benefit of the children of KRL employees. It prepares students for All India Secondary School Examination (AISSE) and All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE). At present, the strength of the school is above 1000. It maintains a good standard in academics. It has won many trophies, prizes and accolades in the fields of sports and games, music, dance, debates, dramas, literary activities and art and craft at the State and National levels.
