 Colargol is an animated stop motion TV series filmed in Poland and produced in France. Based on the original idea and stories by Olga Pouchine, Colargol was first turned into a series of children's recordings by Philips in the 1960s. It is the story of a little bear who wanted to sing and travel the world. Realized by Albert Barillé's animation production company Procidis in Paris, the series was subcontracted to the Polish animation group Se-ma-for in Lodz, and animated by Tadeusz Wilkosz. Music was performed by Mireille, orchestration was by Jean-Michel Defaye, and the lyrics were by Victor Villien.
