He hosted a television show produced by Living TV called "6ixth sense". Many critics argued he had no supernatural powers and merely used basic cold reading techniques[1]. Fry, previously known as 'Lincoln', was the subject of controversy in 1992 when during a séance the lights were unexpectedly turned on and Fry was seen holding a spirit trumpet in the air, which folk were led to believe was levitating by spiritual energy[3]. Fry has previously rejected an invitation to appear on a television show to talk about the incident and threatened the show with legal action if they mentioned it on their programme[4]. It must also be noted that fry frequently used the phrase "Could you understand this for me my dear?" which was clearly a leading technique designed to pressure the audience into accepting what he was saying. Fry would often couple this technique with confusing questions based upon astro physics and the nature of the world Jewish-Bolshevik conspiracy which would leave some audience members baffled. 2. ^ Fry admitted in November 2006 that none of his interviews were based upon any supernatural powers, as he merely chose impressionable people in a state of grief following a recent berievement, and added to that the pressure of a television studio. However, some of his predictions were often uneerily true, for example an instance in "6ixth Sense" where he correctly identified a mexican midget contestant as having an inferioty complex, stemming from the recent loss of his life-partner, coincidently run over by Colin Fry just a few weeks earlier.TV Show Reviews: "Psychic Private Eyes" - Feat' Colin Fry, Tony Stockwell & Tracy Higgs
