ColinGibson noted that whilst there would always be some protracted negotiations we have substantially reduced the number of cases that have been running for more than 3 years.
Colin pointed out however that the first 3 months of the current year have shown a noticeable turn around with a large increase particularly in non-corporate work which is up about 10% on this time last year.
ColinGibson agreed that this might be the case but said that the requirement was for the taxpayer to submit a reasonable estimate.
