Incumbent ColinSharman seemingly avoided a run-off in the District 4 election by only one vote, but challenger Jim Gustino said he might challenge the official results.
Sharman, though, won the election outright by collecting 106 absentee and provisional ballots last Friday to claim 50.15 percent of the total vote to Gustino's 34.44 percent.
Sharman, who the commission appointed last year to serve the remainder of former Commissioner Carol Nichols' term, said he is eager to begin his first full term as an elected official.
