Colinton is an area of Edinburgh in the south west of that city. It is one of the richest outer suburbs of the city, and a lot of the "old money" lives here. It is bordered by the city bypass, and Juniper Green to the south west, Wester Hailes to the north west and Bonaly to the east. The area still retains a lot of small shops, and as a testament to the wealth in the area, there is also a Ferrari showroom. The area has consistently returned Conservatives in elections.
