Collection I is an album compiled of early songs from The Misfits. The album is officially titled Misfits, but is commonly referred to as Collection I and was made up as the first half of a pair with the later release of the compilation album Collection II. The album is also known as "Plan9" and listed in some catalouges as "Caroline Custom- Collection 1". The Misfits canonical skull graphic was lifted from the 1946 television serial, The Crimson Ghost, while the typeface is from the 1950s-60s magazine, Famous Monsters of Filmland. ...
