College English Test or better known as CET, is a national English level test in the People's Republic of China. The full credit is 100 points. This test is held twice a year nationally, in June and December respectively. CET consists of non-English-specialized band 4, band 6 and English-specialized band 6 and band 8, the content includes listening test, reading and writing. Oral test is optional and requires certain points from written test. A lot of colleges and universities in China require CET certificate as a necessity for the bachelor diplomas.
The SAT Reasoning Test (formerly the SAT I: Reasoning Test and commonly referred to as the SAT I) consists of three sections: math, critical reading, and writing, which includes an essay.
During the test, takers do not know which section is the equating section (however, it is never the essay or Section 10, which is always a 10 minute writing section).
Each individual test is scored on a scale of 200 to 800, except for the ELPT, which was scored on a scale of 100 to 999.
