The College of Insurance was a specialized accredited college that, for over 100 years, offered bachelors and masters degrees in business, insurance: casualty and life and health. It also offers exam prepartory seminars and semester classes after business hours for working professionals in New York City in actuarial, insurance, busness and finance. Total enrollment was approximately 460. It was unique in that all bachelors students had to spend half their semesters at a business in it co-operative program. As a result it took five years instead of the canonical four for its undergrauates to earn their degrees.
