Colleges Against Cancer was founded in 2001 by college students Rich Bajner, Jeff Ceretto, and Amy Garrison. They helped start the first CAC chapters at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and Northern Illinois University. By 2007, Colleges Against Cancer had over 350 recognized chapters at schools across the nation.
