Color Climax Corporation (CCC) is a Danish pornography company. It has its headquarters in Copenhagen. It had been the leading producer of European pornography until 1990s. Since then CCC has recessed most of its assets, but because its earlier works attract admirers of so-called "classic pornography", CCC still functions today via the Internet on a large scale. CCC was founded in 1966 as a clandestine black-and-white pornographic magazine, since the ban on pornography in Denmark was to be abolished in 1968. In the 1970s, CCC began to produce pornographic films. These were 8mm loops. Because of their length, availability and lack of elaborate plots, they differed from standard pornographic feature films of the period. By 1980s, video tapes were released, sometimes as compilations of loops.
