The group plans to meet with a group of legislators from Texas and New Mexico to discuss what Colorado Senate Minority Leader Joan Fitz-Gerald called the "problem of disenfranchisement because of republican redistricting," according to a press release.
Colorado Attorney General Ken Salazar filed one, and it seeks to prevent the Secretary of State (Donetta Davidson) from enforcing SB 03-352.
The Colorado senators were scheduled to reach Albuquerque Wednesday afternoon for a dinner meeting with the group from Texas and New Mexico.
