The Columbus Landsharks was the name of a franchise which played in the National Lacrosse League (NLL) from the 20002001 season through the 20022003 season. The Columbus Landsharks played in the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. In 2003, the franchise was sold and moved to Phoenix, Arizona and renamed Arizona Sting.

The Landsharks will play at the brand-new Nationwide Arena in Columbus, a facility built primarily for the expansion Columbus Blue Jackets of the NHL which opened just last week.
Columbus represents the beginning of an expansion push out of the northeastern United States and into areas south and west.
The Landsharks draw the distinction of having as their first-ever opponent the defending league champion Toronto Rock, on 21 December.

Columbus' Wayne Burke scored the Landsharks' last goal of the half, followed by two more Philadelphia goals, from Tom Marechek and Bergey, to end the half at 10-4.
Columbus scored the other two goals of the quarter, with Tracey Kelusky and Giles scoring for the Landsharks, to bring the score to 11-6 at the end of the third.
