Columbus State offers two-year career programs in more than 50 areas of business, health, public service, human service, and engineering technologies, as well as transfer programs for students who are interested in completing the first two years of a bachelor's degree, then transferring to a four-year university. New Satellite Campus

The college has decided to build a 106 acre campus in Liberty Township of Southern Delaware County. The first building is expected to be completed in 2010. Nearly 2,500-3,000 students will take classes at the new campus.


Student Newspaper

Cougar News is a student-run newspaper distributed on Wednesdays. The newspaper focuses on campus events, sports, and local entertainment.


Athletics

The Cougars have nine varsity level sports teams. Seven of the teams compete at the NJCAA division III Level. The mens and womens basketball teams compete at the NJCAA division II level. The Cougars are members of the OCCAC which is an athletic conference for community colleges in Ohio.
