Commander Venus was a band, started by Conor Oberst in Omaha, Nebraska in 1994, when he was only 14. Commander Venus consisted of Conor Oberst, Tim Kasher, Todd Baechle and Robb Nansel. The band released two albums: Do you feel at home? (1995) and Uneventful Vacation (1997). The band was under the label Lumberjack Records later known as Saddle Creek Records and New Yorks Wind-Up Records.
