Carl Commes died of consumption at the home of his brother, Henry Commes, on Bridge avenue, on Sunday morning.
He was at the Presbyterian hospital, New York, for six months, but his condition did not improve and he went to his brother's, where he made his home until his death.
Commes was born in Germany, and he was thirty years old.
