The Ling (Molva molva) is a large member of the Cod family. An ocean fish whose habitat is in the Atlantic region and can be found around Iceland, western British Isles, the Norse coast and occasionally around Finland. The Ling possesses a long slender body that can reach 2 meters in length; it can be a deep running fish going to depths of 100 meters or more at the adult stage, while younger fish are found at shallower depths.
