Encyclopedia > Communication Canada

Communication Canada was a government agency in Canada responsible for keeping the federal government and its agencies connected with the citizens.

The Government of Canada announced December 13, 2003 that Communication Canada would be disbanded by the end of the fiscal year ending March 2004. Its services such as the main government web site (www.canada.gc.ca) and the toll-free information service would be allocated to other government bodies.
