Conference Carolinas formally known as the Carolinas-Virginia Athletic Conference (or CVAC) is an intercollegiate athletic conference affiliated with the NCAA’s Division II. Conference Carolinas reached its modern incarnation in 1994. Member institutions are located in the southeastern United States in the States of North Carolina and South Carolina. Former member Longwood University, which left the CVAC in 2004 in order to move up to Division I, is located in Farmville, Virginia. The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA, often said NC-Double-A) is a voluntary association of about 1200 institutions, conferences, organizations and individuals that organizes the athletics programs of many colleges and universities in the United States. ...
