However, there is a lot of activity in Connaught Place. You can find good restaurants, cinemas, and bookshops here, and if you are on business in Delhi, you will not be able to avoid it.


Connaught Place is partially closed for business on Sundays.


But in the festival times it opens on Sundays also. This is the time to visit/see Connaught Place (also called Connaught Circus) in the evening, it looks simply fabulous. Do visit this place in the Festival times, specially in the evening. On New Year's Eve, there is usually a big bash in the inner circle (somewhat like in Times Square) and the police close it to traffic from 5 pm onwards.
