Connexxion-bus in Katwijk

Connexxion is the largest public transport bus company in the Netherlands, operating in the west, middle, east and far northern part of the country. It was formed in 1999 as result of a fusion between the public transport companies NZH, ZWN, Midnet, Oostnet and (in 2006) Hermes. Its name is a mutation of the French word 'connexion' meaning "connection", and may also have been inspired by that of the French-based multinational transport company Connex.[citation needed] Image File history File links Size of this preview: 634 × 600 pixelsFull resolution (1228 × 1162 pixel, file size: 1. ...
