The Consortium of Universities of the Washington Metropolitan Area allows students to enroll in courses offered by other member institutions and students at other member institutions to enroll in courses at AU.


Students and faculty of WRLC member universities may use and borrow from the libraries at other WRLC member institutions. (Note: In general the law and medical libraries do not provide access or lending to WRLC borrowers.)

Georgetown University is a member of the Consortium of Universities of the Washington Metropolitan Area.
The other member institutions are American University, Catholic University, Gallaudet University, George Mason University, George Washington University, Howard University, Marymount University, National Defense University, Southeastern University, Trinity College, the University of the District of Columbia, and the University of Maryland at College Park.
Although the primary purpose of the Consortium is the improvement of graduate education in the District of Columbia, undergraduate students are also eligible to participate according to the regulations listed below.
