Coolidge is a city located in Hamilton County, Kansas. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 86.

Geography

Coolidge is located at 38°2'32" North, 102°0'37" West (38.042318, -102.010210)¹.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.2 km² (0.5 mi²). 1.2 km² (0.5 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

Demographics

As of the census² of 2000, there are 86 people, 36 households, and 25 families residing in the city. The population density is 72.2/km² (187.4/mi²). There are 41 housing units at an average density of 34.4/km² (89.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 70.93% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 26.74% from other races, and 2.33% from two or more races. 33.72% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 36 households out of which 33.3% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 66.7% are married couples living together, 5.6% have a female householder with no husband present, and 27.8% are non-families. 27.8% of all households are made up of individuals and 22.2% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.39 and the average family size is 2.88.
