On May 15, 2007 he fought in the The Contender Challenge: UK vs. USA broadcasted on ESPN. He won the fight with a 6th round knockdown against Colin McNeil, assuring the American team a victory in the The Contender Challenge: UK vs. USA. Bundrage showed superiority throughout the fight and was the favorite by far in the fight.

In his most recent bout on Jul 11, 2007 "Wednesday Night Fights" Bundrage fought Joel Julio a Hard-hitting 22-year-old junior middleweight contender at the Kodak Theater. In the 2:28 mark of the 8th, Julio caught Bundrage with a long clean right hand to the jaw and rocked the shorter man back on his heels. Bundrage almost went down, as he careened across the ring and Julio immediately jumped on him while winging heavy-handed shots. Another looping right cross to the jaw dropped Bundrage in his tracks and he crashed to the canvas while trying to escape along the ropes.
