Corona was one of the old towns of Queens, which included Long Island City, Jamaica, Newtown, and Flushing. The LeFrak City housing development is located within the southwest ending boundaries of Corona. LeFrak City is a large housing development in the Corona neighborhood of the New York City borough of Queens, built in the mid-1960s for working and middle-class families and located on the north side of the Long Island Expressway. ...
