The Corozal District is the northernmost district of the nation of Belize. Population (2000): 33,335. District capital: Corozal Town.


Also in Corozal District are the towns and villages of Chunox, Consejo, Little Belize, Louisville, Patchacan, Progresso, and Xaibe.


The Pre-Columbian Maya ruins are found in Corazal at Santa Rita near Corazal Town, at Louisville, and at Ceros.
