Although the works were all considered to be genuine until recently, modern scholarship has cast doubts on the authenticity on many of the texts.


The only major work of Aristotle's not in the Corpus Aristotelicum is the Constitution of the Athenians. The Constitution of the Athenians or of Athens (or Athenaion Politeia, or The Athenians) is the name of either of two texts from Classical antiquity, one probably by Aristotle, the other attributed to Xenophon, but not by him. ...
