Mariquita Road in Corrales, New Mexico Corrales is a village located in the U.S. state of New Mexico. It is a part of the Albuquerque metropolitan area. With proximity to the Rio Grande, the village was founded for agricultural purposes. The Rio Grande Bosque on the eastern edge of the village provides refuge for native animals and plants. Until 2005, portions of the Village of Corrales were located in both Bernalillo and Sandoval counties. In 2005, a special election annexed the portion of Corrales located in Bernalillo County to Sandoval County, so that now the entire village is located in Sandoval County.

Legends "Rancho de Corrales," located in the center of Corrales is rumored to be haunted by ghosts. Functioning as a restaurant/bar for many years, it now only serves as a bar. Reports of hauntings include ghosts causing people to drop their plates, as well as apparitions. Ranchos de Corrales is also known as the Territorial House, or T-House. As a big part of Corrales history, the building has a distinctive look, complete with a tree growing through the roof of the patio area.
