Coruba is a New Zealand brand of rum. Coruba is distilled and imported from Jamaica, but is not distributed commercially in Jamaica. Caribbean rum, circa 1941 For other uses, see Rum (disambiguation). ...


There are two types of Coruba rum. The 'Original' which is a dark rum, and a more recent 'Gold' style rum.


Coruba Jamaica Rum is a 100% Jamaican Rum made to the older 'planters rum' style. Coruba has both pot and column still rums all aged in small oak barrels for at least two years. Over thirty rum 'marks' are used to create the Coruba blend and a Solera system is followed to ensure blending consistency over time.


Coruba Jamaica Rum was first imported into New Zealand in 1967. Coruba became the leading rum in New Zealand in the early 1970's and has held this position ever since.


Coruba is the second largest selling spirit brand in New Zealand and has held this position since the late 1980's


Coruba Jamaica Rum is one of the icon spirit brands of New Zealand
