Cosmoe is an open source operating system project with the goal of creating an operating system similar in appearance and general feel to BeOS, a discontinued operating system formerly produced by the now-defunct Be Incorporated. It is based on the Linux kernel and uses significant code from AtheOS. It aims for source-code compatibility with BeOS (and perhaps with the Mac OS Carbon toolkit).
