It should not to be confused with Cosmos Magazine, an Australian science magazine established in November 2004 by the Sydney specialist publishing house Luna Media and sold on newstands in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. As of September 2006 Astronomy Education within the UK will play a larger part in the Science Curriculum with the introduction of a new range of GCSE Science Courses, one of which will be GCSE Astronomy. A number of organisations and teachers associations currently exist which aim to provide support and advice for educators wishing to teach this inspirational subject.
