The CSWE sets and maintains standards of courses and accreditation of bachelor's degree's and Master's degree programs in social work. Generally, accreditation is the process by which a facility becomes officially certified as providing services of a reasonably good quality, so that the public can trust in the quality of its services. ... A bachelors degree is usually an undergraduate academic degree awarded for a course or major that generally lasts three or four years. ...
