ST Universe Episode Review - Enterprise | Season 4 | Storm Front (Pt 2) (665 words)
Unfortunately, this episode is no miracle, and the whole arc ends with a rather uninspired and forced showdown that almost seems to not care how the arc ends, as long as it does ends.
We could have had another bunch of episodes fleshing out the history and background of Vosk’s unnamed race, and we could have had an intricate weaving of Silik’s master’s agenda into the conflict between Daniel’s temporal agents, the Tholian’s unseen bosses, and all the other factions in this convoluted mess.
Archer’s alliance with Silik, the recruiting of the “natives”, the need to infiltrate the base to lower the shields for the main attack, the falling out between the bad guys and the countdown before the bad guy’s super-weapon is completed is all the usual, predictable stuff.
