The Country Music Association of Australia awards (commonly known as the golden guitar Music Awards or CMAA Awards) is an annual awards night held in January during the Tamworth Country Music Festival, in Tamworth, New South Wales, Australia that celebrates the Australian country music industry. They are put on by the Country Music Association of Australia (CMAA). The awards are hosted at night time at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment Centre on the saturday night of the Australia day longweekend and have been held annually since 1973.
