The Hot RandB/Hip-Hop Singles and Tracks chart, formerly known as Top Soul Singles, Top Black Singles, and Top RandB Singles (before the hip-hop term was added in the late 1990s), is a chart released weekly by Billboard in the United States.
The chart, initiated in 1942, is used to track the success of popular music songs in urban, or primarily African-American, venues.
The words "and Tracks" were added to the chart's title when, like the Hot 100, airplay-only tracks (album tracks) were allowed to enter the chart in 1998.

The Modern Rock Tracks chart is a music chart that has appeared in Billboard magazine since September 10, 1988.
The chart was introduced as a companion to the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and its creation was prompted by the explosion of "alternative" music on American radio in the late 1980s.
Modern Rock Tracks is solely based on radio airplay and it is a component chart of the Hot 100.
