Thomas, who still runs two to three miles five days every week, said after the class Thursday that he is not the leanest member of the Senate.
Thomas said he enjoys working with Wyoming people on Wyoming issues.Yet working in the Senate means he can't participate in Rotary Club and other functions or rope calves like he used to.
