Creation Festival is a series of popular Christian music festivals held in the United States. The original festival began in 1979 at Muddy Run Park in southern Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and has been held every year since (except for 1995 and 2006). Starting in 1998, the festival expanded to the west with the addition of "Creation Northwest" (formally Creation West) which is held at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington. Because of the addition of the new festival, the original festival has become known as "Creation Northeast". Starting in 2007, the number of Creation festivals held will increase by one, with the addition of "Creation Southwest", which will be held in July 2007 at Willowood Ranch outside Sherman, Texas. Creation history

Rev. Dr. Harry Thomas, Jr, and Timothy Landis founded Creation East in 1979 in Muddy Run Park in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, where the popularity led to the event moving to a rural area known as Agape Farm in Mount Union. Harry Thomas is the director, and Timothy Landis is the producer. Thomas preaches a message at Creation every year, and Landis books the artists. The festival was cancelled in 1995 and 2006 because of rain, and in 1996 and 2003, held in Hershey, PA. When the festival was located in Hershey, the concerts took place in the arenas which are part of the Hersheypark complex.
