The CPS : Criminal Cases Review Commission (1739 words)
Cases which were originally referred to and prosecuted by the DPP's department or which otherwise raise a difficult or sensitive issue, or in which the conduct of CPS staff or a police officer still in post is called into question, will be dealt with by Casework Directorate.
The CCRC has the power under S.17 Criminal Appeal Act 1995 to require the appropriate person from The CPS to produce the document, have access, and make copies or request that the papers are sent to their offices in Birmingham.
