Cristian first debuted as the teenage son Carlotta Vega, the maid to Dorian Lord. One of Cristian's early storylines was his first love romance with newspaper heiress Jessica Buchanan. In later years, Cristian dated Jennifer Rappaport and then fell in love with Natalie Buchanan, Jessica's long-lost sister.
