In January 2005, he left the band and continued with his musical career in hip-hop. A new bassist was soon found in the form of Lewis Agostinelli. The band then took on the name CRTICAL STAGE. The bands musical ability became better and better (despite the simplicity of their musical style) and soon regular gigs were seen as the norm rather than a rarity. The band prduced a demo CD in January 2006 featuring the tracks: A.N.P., I Couldn't Care Less, No Vote! and S.H.I.T. This demo was given a keen review by Oxford music magazine Nightshift and then played on BBC Radio Oxford.
