Encyclopedia > Crony (Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide character)

Crony is a fictional character on the kid's sitcom Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide. He is one of the bully Loomer's followers. Crony followed P-Cookie (a rapper stage of Cookie's) in the beginning of Guide to: New Semester and Electives and Suzie Crabgrass in the same episode. He isn't completely independent, but is more independent than Buzz as shown by him being in the sewing club. He can think for himself as evidenced by him being in the sewing club. In addition for him probably not willing to do it, it seems to be hard for him to do, though. As the show went on, Crony became less of a bully and more of just a guy who hung around Loomer. When Ned and Cookie accidentally go in the Sewing Club they ask Mr. Monroe if it was detention. When Mr. Monroe told them it was the sewing club Crony acted like he thought it was detention and rushed out the door. Then it is shown that he was actually in it when Mr. Monroe said "There goes the best cross-stitcher in this school". After getting instructions from Mr. Monroe to the detention room Ned and Cookie walk out of the sewing club puzzled. Cookie and Crony appear to be friends as shown in one episode Loomer walked in and saw Crony sitting in front of a table with a sewing machine and fabric talking to Cookie about Loomer accepting Crony being in the sewing club. When Loomer started teasing him Cookie took the heat from Loomer for Crony and told him Crony had just packed the fabric for him. Crony then thanked Cookie and acted as if him and Cookie were friends and Cookie had just done him a big favor. In Secrets he went to tell Loomer about his sewing club secret in the hall about 5 times but something interrupted him each time such as the bell for the next class. Thanks to his talent, he in season 2 joined up with cookie to make the ultimate school uniform. But it didn't work out because the uniform was so ugly that it actually scared people away.
