The suburb is not served by a public primary school, due to the closure of Croydon Park Primary School at the end of 1997 due to declining enrolments. The former site at Hudson Avenue was later developed into housing. History The Croydon Park area was largely based on waves of Eastern European immigration following the Second World War.
