Cubbon Park is a park in Bangalore, India.
For Bangalore, Cubbon Park serves as the lungs in-addition as a tourist destination.
The park is surrounded by other attractions such as the Visveswaraya Industrial and Technological Museum, The High court and the Vidhana Soudha (Karnataka Secretariat).

In the same line, but further North in the Cubbon Park, is the Statue of King Edward VII, almost opposite the rear gate of the Central Telegraph Office.
The Park is located to the West of St. John's Hill and is run by the Municipality of the Civil and Military Station.
Parks were felt needed even in the 1920's, and that they were the "lungs" of the City in those days goes to show that people were aware of the need for air purification.
