Culverhouse Cross (Welsh: Croes Cwrlwys) is suburban district of the city of Cardiff, Wales. It is linked to the M4 motorway via the A4232 and is a busy shopping precinct with a range of stores. It lies on the border between Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. The busy Culverhouse Cross roundabout falls within the southwestern tip of the Ely ward. ITV Wales headquarters (formely HTV Wales)

HTV broadcast from the studios till 2004 when there parent company Carlton merged with Granada and the companies rebranded to ITV Wales, althought they are still legally known as HTV Cymru/Wales


The studios handled the Transmittion of both HTV and Carlton Westcountry until 2002 when the department moved to London.


ITV Wales is now transmitted fully from London with the word "wales" superimposed to the Live tv feed.
