The Cumbria Coastal Way at Sandscale Haws, Cumbria
The Cumbria Coastal Way (CCW) is a long distance footpath which follows a majority of the coast from Silverdale in Lancashire to Gretna, allowing users to travel from Cumbria's southern border to just north of the English - Scottish border. The distance of the complete walk is roughly 150 miles (or 241 km). It follows some of the most beautiful coastline in England, especially the dramatic red sandstonecliffs of St. Bees Head.
