Ćuprija (Ћуприја) is a city located in Serbia and Montenegro at 43.93° North, 21.38° East. Its name means "bridge" in Serbian language. In 2003 the city has total population of 20500.

The Kriva Cuprija bridge (or the "curved bridge") is situated near the "Old Bridge" in Mostar where a small torrent flows into the river Neretva.
Built in 1558 by Cejvan Kethoda, this bridge is the oldest in the town and is traditionally seen as the model used to design the "Old Bridge".
Despite two series of bombings of the city in 1992 and 1993, the Kriva Cuprija bridge was not destroyed although part of the parapet was damaged and the paving was smashed in some places.

Beside the famous Stari Most (Old Bridge), a genuine symbol of the town destroyed in 1993, there is another ancient bridge in Mostar: the Kriva Cuprija (or the Crooked Bridge).
The exact date of its construction and the name of its founder are not known.
Kriva cuprija is a stone one-arch bridge of small dimension and closely resembles the Stari Most.
