Located in the suburb is the Illoura Community Horse Holding Paddocks, Holy Trinity Primary school, Brindabella Gardens retirement village, South Curtin Neighbourhood oval. Curtin shops is a medium sized shopping centre. Yarralumla creek runs through the edge of the suburb.
